In order to maximize the professional development, support and resources available to peer educators on our campus, the Mentoring for All initiative has developed and acquired NASPA’s Certified Peer Educator Training for all students involved in various peer educator roles.
This training opportunity emphasizes and is geared towards students participating in a peer mentor, peer coach, or peer guide role. If your program has required you to complete this training as part of your student position training, you are in the right place! Please see below for information on the registration process, upcoming sessions, and receiving your certificate.
CPE Training helps peer educators develop leadership skills to be able to successfully create and implement campus programs.
The training includes eight modules:
See below for the trainer and the sessions they will offer.
You must register and attend the training sessions with the trainer of your choice only. At this time, we are not allowing cross-enrollment to complete sessions with different trainers.
Submit your RSVP for the trainer of your choice.
Note: if you have previously attended a NASPA training, conference or already have a NASPA account, please email mentoring@ucsd.edu to receive support with your registration.
Requirements for Receiving the CPE Certificate:
The CPE training sessions are in-person and all registered students must attend the full duration of each scheduled session.
