Occurring annually each January, the purpose of National Mentoring Month is to celebrate the power of supportive and meaningful mentorship relationships. It recognizes the importance of mentoring and the impact it can have on students' university experience.
This is also a time to encourage others to become mentors, and to raise awareness about the various mentoring programs at UC San Diego.
Join us for the 4th annual National Mentoring Month Celebration Luncheon. The luncheon is open to all students, alumni, campus programs/departments, faculty and staff participating in mentorship at UC San Diego.
This event is a great way to bring the community together to celebrate accomplishments and connect with others who share a passion for supporting students through mentorship.

Undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, staff, and alumni have a variety of ways to engage with National Mentoring Month and are encouraged to participate in all available opportunities.
Submit a nomination or self-nomination to the Mentorship Awards to celebrate the power of mentorship by honoring exceptional mentors, mentees, and programs. Nomination period now open!
Programs, departments, and student organizations can apply to receive a National Mentoring Month Mini-grant for a mentorship programming event.
